Bring your piece in, prepped and painted with the base color, ready for the stencil, then we’ll do the rest in the workshop!
Want to learn how to stencil? Here’s your chance!
Thursday, December 1, 2022, 1pm
in the Frame and Frills Workroom at 650 E 1st St. New Richmond, WI
You bring your own piece of furniture all ready to stencil, I’ll provide the tips, techniques and products, (paint, stencil and brushes) in the workroom for you to complete it…
This is a casual format! I’ll do a stencil demonstration with tips and techniques to show you before you start into working on your own stenciling.
The piece of furniture you want to work on in this workshop will need to be small enough to fit in the space.
Basically, needs to not take up more than a space 3′ x 3′. A good rule of thumb is if you can carry it in yourself, it’ll probably work. If you have any questions about this, feel free to contact me to discuss if the piece you have will work for this workshop.
Want to take this class, but don’t have a piece?
I’ve got you covered! I have several small tables stock-piled for you to choose from. You will need to get it ahead of time to get it prepped and painted in your Fusion Mineral Paint color before the day of the workshop. If you’re interested in seeing what’s available, please contact me and I’ll send you pics with workshop prices, or set up a time for you to stop by and take a look.
If you need any advice on how to properly prep your piece or to pick up products feel free to set up a time we can chat. Bringing in your piece ahead of time for me to see it is helpful to properly see what prep is needed for it.
All the prep, cleaning, scuff sanding, priming if necessary and the Fusion Mineral Paint base color needs to be done ahead of the workshop so that your piece is ready to stencil the day of.
I do recommend bringing the pot of Fusion Mineral Paint that you used for the base color, with you the day of the workshop. That way, if you mess up your stencil the first time around, (trust me, it happens even to experienced stencilers!) you can easily repaint the base color and then have another go at it. (I have dryers on hand for a quick dry)
The workshop is approximately 1-2 hours long.
This is a small gathering of 4-6 participants max.
All workshop participants will receive a 10% discount towards any products purchased in the shop the day of the workshop!
To hold your spot, the workshop must be paid in full in advance. Due to the limited space available, there are no cancellation refunds unless you/we can find someone to fill your spot.
Covid or any other sickness policy: Common sense… If you are sick, have any symptoms including fever, please reschedule your class for a time you are feeling better.
